This is a kookaburra.

Often, they laugh for no reason at all.
They just can't help it.
But this kookaburra can.

Life's not easy for the most serious kooka in the borough.

Kookaburras Love to Laugh is a story about stereotypes, differences, fitting in, and flatulence and the tale of one particularly serious kookaburra, who doesn't care much for the status quo.

This guy has always been different. He doesn't like to koo, and he isn't keen to kaa life's no breeze for the most serious bird on the branch. So he takes off to find a more fitting flock, but soon discovers that all flocks have their flaws.

Created by Laura and Philip Bunting, this story is wonderfully told by one of our favourite storyteller, Tim Rogers.
