About the Story

Bill is having a bad day.

Mr Huff is following him around and making everything seem difficult.

Bill tries to get rid of him, but Mr Huff just gets bigger and bigger!

Then they both stop, and a surprising thing happens . . .

Cloudy with a chance of rain... Bill has a bad feeling about the day. Something is following him and making him feel sad. Will Bill ever feel the sunshine again?

Mr Huff is a gentle, poignant and accessible story about dealing with difficult emotions. Written, illustrated AND read by the enormously talented Anna Walker, we follow Bill as he struggles to cope with his mounting worries and anxiety. Told simply, with accompanying emotionally charged and delicate illustrations, Mr Huff is sure to resonate with adults and children alike.

The wonderfully affirming ending leaves us with a sense of hope for tomorrow. We love Anna Walker's beautiful reading and her wise words about Mr Huff: 'If you have felt the clouds when the sky is blue, this book is for you.'

Truly a story to cherish.
