Too Busy Sleeping
Too Busy Sleeping is a beautiful, reassuring, and positive story, told through toddler Eleanor's eyes, about welcoming a new baby into the home.
Author Zanni Louise delightfully conveys Eleanor's excitement, curiosity, and frustration, as she goes about her busy day, waiting patiently for a chance to play with her new baby brother Reuben. Anna Pignataro's watercolour and collage illustrations are a delight, creating a dreamy, warm and homely backdrop for the special experience of introducing a newborn into the family.
Storyteller Emily Barrett's gentle reading is highly recommended for younger children preparing for the arrival of a sibling, or for inspiring older children to remember their own family experiences.
