About the Story

Superheroes — usually — are tall and very muscly.
They’re often blessed with handsome looks,
and spend their weekends catching crooks.

Amazing strength, incredible speed, sensational costumes... meet the superheroes of the animal kingdom and discover their incredible natural abilites...

My superhero’s not like that.

But who is the mystery superhero of this story?

Chris Owen's endearing story is a celebration of the superhero qualities of someone closer to home. Young children will delight in the rhythm, rhyme, alliteration and onomatopoeia in this perfect read-aloud tale and will have fun guessing just who the real superhero is.

Combined with bold, bright and visually striking illustrations from Moira Court, and told charmingly by master storyteller Alan BroughMy Superhero is the perfect story to share this Father's Day (and all year round!).
