About the Story

Living on a farm can be noisy, especially when the chickens require rounding up in the evening!

Newsreader Jo Hall leaves the newsdesk to share with us this lovely tale of hard working farm dog, Banjo and haughty chicken, Ruby Red.  They never see eye to eye, and are constantly battling with each other.  Then one day Ruby Red goes missing.  Libby Gleeson's story is one of friendship, love and hope whilst Freya Blackwood's lively illustrations capture the mayhem perfectly.
